About Emu Creek Art Co

Stephanie is the nature nerd at the heart of Emu Creek Art Co.  A self taught illustrator and mural artist, she paints stories and imagined adventures, in a distinct style that reflects her origin, playfulness and connection to the land.

Stephanie enjoys bringing to life joyful ideas that celebrate special memories, places and people.  She takes the time to listen to what you want, and will create a concept that is heart led.  

feel at home

Nomadic since her teens across the vast continent, Stephanie uses art to create a sense of belonging.  Expect to feel right at home in your new artwork, no matter how small, or big it is! 

everyone is welcome

Stephanie was born in 85 on Kuarna Country (Adelaide SA) and is a queer white woman with Dutch, Swedish, Scottish, Aboriginal, English, Spanish and Italian ancestors.  She is 7th Gen Australian on her Mum's side and 2nd Gen Dutch Australian on her Dad's side.  Steph does not identify as Aboriginal.   


This Country, Australia, always was and always will be Aboriginal Land. Steph pays the rent.
